Sofia Wikström is doctor in ecological botany at Stockholm University. She works mainly with issues regarding invasions of macroalgae into the Baltic Sea region. Among others, she has studied the establishment and spread of the invasive macroalga Fucus evanescens and the effects of this species on the diverse flora and fauna associated with the macrophyte community. |
